The Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha Temple: 08:30-12:00/ 13:30-16:30 hrs The splendid Grand Palace enclosure is home to many ornate temples and buildings with a variety of architectural styles. Gold leaf, reflective tiling and Buddha images are to be seen everywhere. The magnificent Wat Pra Kaeo, a treasure house of Thai arts and home to the Emerald Buddha, Thailand’s most revered Buddha Image. But there is much else of interest to be seen in the Grand Palace compound – The Pavilion of Regalia, Royal Decorations and Coins, where a permanent exhibition of royal regalia ,decorations, medals and coins dating back to the early 11th century are on display as well as The Throne Hall.

Ayuthaya by River Sun Cruise – 07:00- 17:00 hrs Depart Bangkok by Coach to Ayuthaya, former capital of Thailand. Visit the many ruined palaces and temples destroyed during the war with the Burmese. Visit Bang Pa-In Palace, the famous summer resort for Thai royalty from the Ayuthaya to Rattanakosin Periods.
