Home Industries: – 08:30-12:00 / 13:30-17:00 hrs Visit the handicraft center at Sankampaeng district. This sightseeing highlight is to see the local people making different handicrafts – Lacquer ware, Silverware, Hand woven textiles by silk and cotton, fine Teak wood carving and painting on paper parasols.

Elephants at Work & Orchid Nursery Farm -08:30-12:00 hrs Take the morning excursion to the famous Mae Sa – 30Km from the City. This tour will teach you all about Elephants. See how they take their baths, mahouts teaching elephants to drag logs, respond to commands and working in the jungle. Continue to the beautiful orchid Nursery containing more than 50 different types of colorful orchids and the butterfly farm.

Elephant Riding and Bamboo Rafting – 08:30-17:00hrs This trip is good for the one who does not have enough time to touch the really vast and dense jungle atmosphere which is 56 Km North of Chiang Mai, see elephant shows, take time for riding on the elephant for 1 hr. through the jungle. Continue by Oxcart for 15 mts.
